Amy Tra is a physician assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. She later completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at Florida International University in Miami. Before attending PA school she worked as a medical scribe in both emergency room and outpatient clinic settings. She has worked in gastroenterology since completing PA school and has treated a variety of digestive disorders. She believes in the importance of patient education and ensuring patients understand their health and treatment plan well. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.
